Driver, 74, arrested for careless driving after accident at Eng Neo Ave, two taken to hospital
A 74-year-old man was arrested for careless driving causing hurt after an accident involving a taxi and a car at the junction of Eng Neo Avenue and Vanda Road.
A Stomper alerted Stomp to the incident and shared photos of the aftermath.
Both vehicles sustained damage from the accident.
A woman was seen being strapped onto a stretcher by paramedics.
In response to a Stomp query, the police said they were alerted to the accident at 10.50pm.
"The 70-year-old male taxi driver and his 43-year-old female passenger were conveyed conscious to the hospital," a police spokesperson said.
"A 74-year-old male car driver was arrested for careless driving causing hurt."
Police investigations are ongoing.
